Built-in Magento CRM Notifications suits well merchants who process tons of call and emails. It allows creating notifications for your customers and using Magento popup notifications. Moreover, you get access to all alerts via the Customer grid. The solution will make your job easier and more effective.
That's how the enabled extension looks like (the column Notify text is empty as the customer profile is also empty. If you place any information there, the field updates).
Install the extension. Go to System >Configuration >MagenMagic extension >MagenMagic Notify.
There are two options in the Admin Customer Grid block: highlight customers with notify and show notify info in the grid. The first option is quite useful. You easily can see which customers to process.
Note! If you activate both options, you can't highlight customers. If the admin processes customers and doesn't want to highlight them, the admin should remove the Notify date.
The next block is Admin Notifications. Text in the field Title of Admin Notification will be displayed in the popup which the manager sees when opens the admin area.
Specify e-mail addresses in Target E-mails, which should receive the reminding letters.
If you want to send messages for customers, use the next block Send notification e-mail to the customer. Specify there a subject and text of the letter that you want to send them
Creating Customer Reminders
Go to Customers >Manage Customers. Use Notify text and Notify date to create a reminder.
