Upload the package via Magento Connect.
Open System > Configuration > Magen Magic Extensions > New Products. Choose the listing type (grid or list) and the number of columns count. Choose the number of days for products displaying in the block in the section Days Before. For example, if you point "8" it means that a product that was added 9 days ago won't be displayed in the block, if the product was added 7 days ago, it will be displayed in the New Products Block.
